Snap Dog Designs Pochettes

Written by Kevin Sando

Positive reinforcement is key to a well trained dog, and this is the founding principle of Snap Dog Designs. Their designer treat bags are both stylish and innovative and will make rewarding your dog easier than ever.

Snap Dog Designs were kind enough to send us two samples of their dog treat pouches (pochettes) for review, and Harley and I had a great time testing them out!

Product Description

Snap Dog Design Pochette 2

Snap Dog Designs offers a wide variety of pochettes (with belt clips or shoulder straps), all of which available in many styles and designs.

We received two different pochettes – one black and roughly 5.5″ wide and 6.5″ tall and the other chestnut and roughly 5.5″ wide and 4.5″ tall.  They are both constructed of a soft faux leather inside and out.  There is a metal belt clip sewn into the back and a small dog themed charm included on the front.  There is also an interior magnetic snap to close the pouch when needed.  These pochettes are also stain resistant and hand washable.

Product Review

The quality is immediately apparent with these Snap Dog Design pochettes.  I had been hesitant to purchase a treating pouch in the past, because they typically either looked cheap, or were not exactly masculine.  I really appreciated the natural look and subtlety of these pochettes and I definitely felt comfortable wearing them around.

We were very pleased with the performance of these pochettes.  The belt clip felt very secure on your waist and the magnetic snap worked excellent to keep those precious treats secure.  The pochettes were the perfect size for reaching into and grabbing treats as well, without being unnecessarily bulky.

Comfortable and secure fit

Harley quickly learned what that new thing we were wearing was all about and this helped to focus his attention during walks.  In fact, after wearing it a few times, it can make your dog more attentive whether it actually has treats in it or not!

These bags make positive reinforcement extremely convenient and thus help improve the training experience for all involved.  Whether you are taking your dog to a training class, teaching them a new trick, or trying to improve any sort of behavior, these pochettes would prove to be a huge asset!

Harley hoping we will fill the pochette and take him for a walk!

Final Thoughts

We were very pleased with these pochettes and would definitely recommend Snap Dog Designs products.  They are high quality and stylish, and Snap Dog Designs even donates a portion of their profits to no-kill animal shelters and rescue organizations.  Check them out at their website, on Facebook and on Twitter!
